The drum method refers to filling a drum with powder particles and slowly rotating it, measuring the number of times the particles collapse per rotation at a fixed speed. The larger the number of times, the better the flowability; On the contrary, the smaller the size, the poorer the liquidity. This method reflects the stability, critical transition, and collapse scale of particle flow And mass flow rate
The surface of particles in the drum can be divided into three regions from top to bottom due to different flow velocities: sparse flow zone, dense flow zone, and creep zone; The variation of shear rate has a significant impact on the flow characteristics and motion state of particles;
